REGISTRATION FOR THE MARCH 9 CLASS IS CLOSED. STAY TUNED FOR INFO ON FUTURE CLASSES LATER IN 2008
Have you ever been part of, heard of, or witnessed a cycling-related incident that resulted in an injury? Did you find yourself wishing you knew what to do, or wish that your first aid skills were a bit more up to date? Here is your chance to become better prepared to handle these situations.
On Sunday, March 9, Portland Velo is hosting an all-day First Aid and CPR training session at Madison's Grill (in the ballroom) from 8:00am-5:00pm. Velo member Mike Mulligan put together a program specific to the types of injuries you may experience on the road. After this workshop, you will know how to handle the most common cycling-related injuries, the do's and dont's of more serious injuries, and how to administer CPR. You will walk out certified in both First Aid and CPR.
