I'm planning a ride to Oceanside on Thursday, July 3rd.  Should be about 85 miles each way.  Spend an hour or so on the beach, then ride back.  I'm trying to get some more saddle time in preparation for STP.  Ty said it's a great route, but I'm a little concerned about traffic heading to the beach the day before the holiday.  I'll be doing it solo if no one joins, but company would make it nicer.

I realize that it's really short notice for a ride like this, but I just got the route pinned down.  This is going to be my last preparatory ride for STP and I have Thursday off.  Is anyone able to join me?
