Dan,
I have a set of Neuvation M28 Aero 3's that I like a lot. They ride well, are stiff laterally but give a decent ride and are very light for the money.....and the bearings are super smooth and ceramic bearings are not needed at all.
I also have an older set of R28 SL2's...that are lighter, have a higher spoke count and spin just as well.
Also, Neuvation customer service is great. Along with wheels comes several extra spokes and nipples in case you happen to break one.
Overall....for the money, I don't know if you can do any better than a set of Neuvations.
