    Winery bike-route

Hey all; my and Alex's birthdays are coming up, and I had an idea to do a winery bike tour around Yamhill County area. We would be launching from the McMenamin's Grand Lodge (or somewhere else in the vicinity if you have any ideas). I'm trying to put together a route soon, any suggestions? Wineries we should visit or routes we should take? I'm thinking maybe ~40 miles, maybe less, I suppose depending on how many wineries we visit ;)

    Montinore - Forest Grove - Whites , Sparkling& Red

Kramer & Elk Cove ( 3 mile climb) Gaston - Whites, Rose, sparkling, Red - very nice view from Kramer gravel road in off main road

    Patton Valley - Gaston - off old Hwy 47 - ??

Willa-Kenzie - outside of Carlton - primarily Pinot  Noir - nice setting

2 wineries in Carlton plus a multi winery tasting room.

    Some suggestions

David Hill vineyard/winery, North of Forest Grove, 1.5mi West of Kansas City/Thatcher Rd. Great view. David Hill Rd may be gravel.

The Oregonian's Spring guide to Oregon Wineries is out today. I don't think it's online but it's mentioned on Oregonlive.com:
