I am planning to ride from hillsboro max to astoria on Friday Aug 1, and will be staying over for Cycle Oregon Weekend, returning Sunday (by car).  My wife will be driving out to Astoria Aug 1 and doing CO as well.  Would really like to find another rider or two to join me to Astoria Aug 1, via published route here: http://www.portlandonline.com/TRANSPORTATION/index.cfm?c=39890&   

Would like to ride medium brisk pace, say 17 - 18 on flats or so.  Once in Astoria, I am dreaming of late lunch at Columbia Cafe (best food in the West) on Marine Drive, then heading to Fort Stevens for camping.

Anyone doing CO weekend and would like to ride out to Astoria?
