Calling all PV riders- who signed up for CO?

Hey folks. I would like to know who signed up this year for CO? Identify yourselves! I'm in, of course- just counting the days! Thought I would start discussions on items of interest to all. Feel free to add to the list below

On items of interest may be worth creating subjects such as

    - CO Car pools

    - CO PV campsite?

    - CO PV jersey day- beer garden pic?

    - Other ?

    - CO Advice- ask Mikey?

Hello all, Well - I would have thought that the odds of P-Velo making its presence at Cycle Oregon would have been more than just 4 peeps... And if anyone else will be up there this weekend..... my wife and I shouldn't be that hard to spot... I'm on a red & white Wilier Izoard (a very rare steed around these parts apparently) and I'm not exactly the smallest guy on two wheels! And my wife is on a White Specialized. If you happen to be going and see some people that fit this description - give a shout out! Hope to meet/see some Velo riders up there! For the rest of you - enjoy the weekend!
    Ciao,

Okay folks - I know of at least three people who signed up for CO this year (the week). Half the fun is getting together! So if you're interested in getting together to ride as a group for a day or just hanging out at the beer garden - for pizza and beer before dinner one night? or for pizza/beer for desert?

Cmon! This is CO! Did someone say food! ? ping me.

Yes, Dean, I'm signed up for my very first CO (but you knew that already). It seems like the perfect way to kick off the start of my sabbatical. And why ride if not to drink beer afterwards..?

I do have a long-term parking pass already, and had planned to take my truck up. There will be plenty of extra room for bikes and gear, so if other people want to use a smaller vehicle for people transport, I can do the hauling. Also will have one extra seat available, in case someone needs a ride.

I have also signed up and would really like to get a ride with someone and the beer sounds like a good idea, hopefully all interested parties can figure out something.

Looking forward to a great event wih great people

I will be doing the CO this year too. I am driving over solo, have my long term parking pass already.  Signed up for CO last year but had to back out at the last because of health reasons.  Am looking forward to the ride this year.  Wouldn't mind hooking up with some other PV folks though...

I am planning on riding in CO this year. I  have a friend from Canada who also plans to attend. Let's hope for nice weather. I already purchased the long term parking pass. Has anyone received their pass in the mail yet?

Re: Calling all PV riders- who signed up for CO?

Well great. So we do have a handful of folks attending. My thought is we plan the following

    - ride day (we ride in a group at a reasonable pace- or smaller subset if we have hammer-nails vs other)

    - Group Pic (beer garden)

    - Connect folks who may need a ride to/ from LaGrande/ Elgin

I'll respond with the suggested days soon. Looking forward to CO- now 3 weeks away.

Got my long term parking pass in the mail the other day.  Now all I have to do is do a dry run on packing my bag with tent, travel gear and neccessary clothing.

    Hello,

I am also looking forward to the coming week at cycle Oregon and would enjoy getting together for a group ride and beer!

Dean,  Do you have an idea on how we might all link up?

    All,

How about meeting at Longbottoms on Saturday at 8:30am and have chat before the Saturday ride?

Re: Cycle Oregon - extra parking pass

I am going to be car pooling and as a result I have an extra parking pass available. I know it is probably a long shot at this point in time but if you know anyone in need but who has not yet purchased, they can have this one at a discount.

    Update:  pass has been sold.

Re: Cycle Oregon - Club Photo and Rollout

For those of you who have never been, it is wise to suggest a meeting place.  Like, say, Rider Services.  Then you'll easily have a volunteer to take pictures, as well :-)

    You all have fun!

Re: Cycle Oregon - Club Photo and Rollout

Sunday morning, 7:30 am meeting at rider services, sounds like a plan to me.  Then we can go from there. I will wear my PV jersey that morning so I can be found or I can see someone...
