Highline Hammer - please sign up

    Dear fellow PV-ers,

I have signed up and paid for this cycling event in mid-July (15th-19th), but am no longer able to go.  Hammer Nutrition has refunded a portion of what I have paid, but will only give me a full refund if they are able to fill my spot (and someone else who cancelled before me).I have never done this event but everything I have heard has been extremely positive, and I hope to be able to go next year.  By the way, it is limited to just 30 people and costs $600 (not including accommodation or transportation to Montana)If you do decide to go please let me know so that I can follow up with the Hammer folks.Sign up by contacting Kadidja toll-free at 800-336-1977.From the website:The Highline Hammer is a 5-day cycling experience held in Northwest Montana, the site of Hammer Nutrition's headquarters. Along with epic rides and breath-taking scenery, attendees are also treated to full SAG support on all rides, round table discussions with Brian Frank and the senior Hammer staff, product and clothing discounts, gourmet meals, shuttle service to and from the airport and events, and more.Rides include a 2-hour warm up spin around the Flathead Valley, a 70+ mile ride around Flathead Lake, and a 136-mile loop through Glacier National Park. With 15,000 feet of climbing, 4 mountain passes, and two trips over the Continental Divide, this ride is truly one of a kind.

    Sasha,

I signed up - I think that you need two more to get your full refund.

The ride looks great - I will drive across to Montana the day before and camp in one of the local campgrounds. I rode last sunday with the PV racers up and down Skyline, including back up old Germantown road (for the first time) to get some climbing time under my belt.  Got my *** kicked by those guys, ..... but survived, hopefully a bit stronger. Got the Tour de blast this saturday for some more climbing training.

    Cheers

    Jamie

Wow, I'd do this if I didn't already have other plans for July.  Maybe next year.  Montana is spectacular, especially Glacier, and I'm hoping to get back there to do some riding.  Jamie, you will have a great time!  Are you willing to write up a ride report for VeloCITY??
