Just getting something going here for any Veloites who are doing this ride on June 20th. I'm planning on doing the 82 mile ride. Let me know if you plan on riding, perhaps we can get a mutual start time going, etc.

I'll be there. It is a gorgeous ride and looks like being another good day weather-wise. It would be good to at least start together and take it from there. I did the ride last year in a bit over 6 hours of riding so my pace is moderate - not too fast and not too slow.

Great, good to hear from you Jaime. I'll be riding up with Kevin O'Connell and possibly two others. I believe he will be leaving fairly early in the morning so I don't have a definite start time for us yet. We can certainly look for you near the start line in the morning.

Jamie Cobb, Mike Walter and I are riding with a pretty large group of guys. I suspect we will many different paced group. We are all camping at Silver Lake - probably launch by 7:30am Saturday morning.
I will look to leave Toutle between 7 and 7.30 and will keep a look out for any PV jerseys. I do not have one so will be hard to identify me as a club member. Don't be alarmed if a stranger straddling a yellow Trek 2200 (circa 2001) walks up and introduces himself to you in a loud Aussie accent.

Looks like our band of riding hooligans will be leaving at the crack o'dawn (5:30) from Portland. Definitely give a shout as you pass me going up the hills :) I'll be in our racing team gear.
