    Wheel deal

The price just dropped on these M28 Aero training wheel sets which have Abec5 bearings w/ceramic option. Reviews and word of mouth are good plus the vendor responded to my email questions in a short time (the rear wheel flange has been improved). I am a rookie so I have not used these before.

    Hi Dan,

My wife has the non-Aero version of these wheels.  I bought them for her as a gift and I installed the ceramic bearings in about 45 minutes.  She loves them and actually prefers them over her Ksyriums.

    Dan,

I have a set of Neuvation M28 Aero 3's that I like a lot. They ride well, are stiff laterally but give a decent ride and are very light for the money.....and the bearings are super smooth and ceramic bearings are not needed at all.

I also have an older set of R28 SL2's...that are lighter, have a higher spoke count and spin just as well.

Also, Neuvation customer service is great. Along with wheels comes several extra spokes and nipples in case you happen to break one.

Overall....for the money, I don't know if you can do any better than a set of Neuvations.

    Tim and Ron,

Thanks for the info. I bought M28 Aeros that spin better than my worn Shimano wheels. The bearings are smooth although the aero features seem to catch cross winds. I just found a deal on Easton SLX which I heard can handle a Clysdale rider and are lighter weight so I'll give them a try. I guess that now I have Winter wheels and Summer wheels.
