41.7 miles, 1,074 feet elevation

10:00am Roll-Out

This weeks ride has three components: 16 miles of flats,10 miles of hills and rollers and 16 miles of flat heading home.  We start out going west on Evergreen and across the Churches to Harrington and Greenville.  Then the climbing begins, followed by a fun descent of Hillside and then some stiff rollers.  Then it's up David Hill, through Forest Grove, and heading home via Verboort-Wren-Hornecker.  The forecast for this Saturday looks to be scattered light rain.  Ride temperatures will be in the high 40's.

Portland Velo was founded in February 2006 by a bunch of folks (35 of us, actually) who simply enjoyed riding bikes together. Since then we've grown to over 400 members. Our philosophy is "It's All About The Ride" - join us for a ride and find out why we continue to be Oregon's premier cycling club.
