4/19/14 Ride: OLD 47-VERBOORT-GASTON (43.6 mi, 1,174 ft): This route takes us west to Forest Grove, out Ritchey, then following Old Hwy 47 through Gaston and back up Spring Hill and Fern Hill Roads - a few miles of nice fast track.  Then we head through Cornelius and back home.  At this time Saturday is predicted to be mostly cloudy to scattered rain and temperatures during the ride in the 50's!

Portland Velo was founded in February 2006 by a bunch of folks (35 of us, actually) who simply enjoyed riding bikes together. Since then we've grown to over 600 members. Our philosophy is "It's All About The Ride" - join us for a ride and find out why we continue to be Oregon's premier cycling club.
