4/18/15 - 9:00 am: VINTAGE CEDAR CANYON (45.5 miles 1,494 feet of climbing): This weeks route has it all - climbing, descending, rollers and long flats. We start out with 5 miles of flat to warm up - heading north across OR 26 on Helvetia and then out West Union to Jackson Quarry. After descending and climbing on Jackson Quarry, this week we turn left on Mason Hills and descend. Then it's over to the pallet factory on Jackson School and out Shadybrook before climbing Pumpkin Ridge. Then it's around and down Pumpkin Ridge to Mountaindale - and back across OR 26 via Dersham to Harrington. From here we head out to Banks via Roy and Mountaindale. At the intersection of OR 47 and Cedar Canyon, we take Cedar Canyon to the Wilson River Highway. This can be a place to let the horses run if feeling energetic. Then we're on OR 6 for a bit before climbing up Stafford to Strohmayer. From here it's a couple miles of nice descent and then 15 miles of flat back to LaCie. We'll travel on Greenville and Roy, finishing up with the normal Wren-to-Evergreen module. The weather forecast is calling for partly cloudy to clear skies and ride temperatures in the low-50's to low-60's - awesome April riding weather.Ride Map* | CTX File* | Ride Preview | Weather
